All candidates are asked to complete an
evaluation form during the course, and these are considered as we seek to
develop the way in which we present the material.
Some of the comments made recently about the course
in New Zealand:

and an email this year from Indonesia
Hi
Suzanne and the ALSO team
Just wanted to send you a quick email
I did the course in November 2008 and am now in Indonesia working for
Australian Volunteers International
Had reason recently to use some of the training in real life with a severe
shoulder dystocia, made a little more difficult with a language barrier as I
forgot all my Indonesian when it it all started. I suspect undiagnosed
gestational diabetes was the problem with a big baby and polyhydramnios. Over 5
mins to get bub's body out. In thinking about it all afterwards, I thought it
was interesting as apart from the instrumental birth part, it was the oral
exam from the course I did then - shoulder dystocia and PPH. Thanks so much for
the training!!!
